HP Recommended

Good morning,

Our facility is using a Polycom CMA 5000 strictly for (1) Global Directory on endpoints, and (2) bulk software pushes.

The current software version is 6.2.7.ER1

We have an HDX 8000 on our network that was being logged into by the CMA's IP address several times each minute:

"...admin has logged into the system from ::ffff: 158.73.x.x"

This endpoint experienced frozen video during a conference call.

Other HDX series endpoints on our network are being logged into approximately every five minutes (no frozen video).

In a basic sense, why does the CMA log into an endpoint if the CMA is solely acting as the GDS save for when we are doing software pushes, and why would the multiple times a minute be limited to a single unit?

Thank you for your time, just trying to understand.

Have a wonderful day.
