Drifter,

RMX Lync integration requires version 7.2 (OCS requires version 7.0). Version 7.2 also has its own requirements. Your RMX must have the 1024M controller (seen under system information) and MPM+ or MPMx cards, MPM-f and MPM-h cards cannot be upgraded past 7.0.3.

However, Lync and OCS integration are only supported if the integration is done by Polycom Professional Services. If you want to integrate your RMX with Lync, you should contact your Polycom sales representative to upgrade your MPM cards (if necessary) and purchase Professional Services Lync integration.

Just a quick point of clarification: RMX integration with Lync requires only version 7.1 for official support.  Version 7.2 adds RTV capabilties but 7.1 and MPM cards can still integrate with Lync but all Lync video calls into the RMX will be limited to H.263 CIF resolution.

Can you help me to upgrade version from V5.0.1.24 to V7.1 with MPM cards, thank you very much.

Drifter,

As I stated above, MPM-f and MPM-h cards cannot be upgraded past 7.0.3. They are not supported on 7.1. You will need MPM+ or MPMx cards to upgrade to 7.1 RMX software.

Hi ,

Let me know how to do correct integration from OCS R2 to Lync 2010 server , actully yesterday evening we tried to do something as deployment guide and Admin (ver7.6.1) guide but nothing in spite of  performing step by step ad document .

Normally in that place Rmx2000 ver7.6.1 is working with OCS R2 properly we dont have any problem but we nwant to upgreate to lync 2010 .  ( Rmx2000 is using Mpm+  card with 1024mb )

pls see below using comments on Lync powershell.
