I followed the instructions on the "Lync and DMA Integration - Internal Clients Issues when dialing to VMW" to setup the ability for Lync Clients (both external and internal) to connect up to DMA hosted Virtual Meeting Rooms.   Works like a champ!

 

It would be much easier for the users if I could somehow add these rooms to the AD directory so the user doesn't have to enter the cryptic codes like 711041@vmr.domain.name; but rather search AD for Virtual Meeting Room 1 and select that.

 

Any pointers on getting that done?

Sure - the DMA supports Lync presence publishing of the VMRs. You add the VMRs to your Lync contact and join audio or video to them like any other contact. Just don't expect IM to work as that would be wierd.
