Hi!

I'm trying to set up a RMX 1500, but when I finish the fast configuration wizard it shows these alarms:

MCU ID Time GMT Time Category Level Code Description
RMX-MPPTAA 5 2014 May 5 04:41:48 p.m. 2014 May 5 09:11:48 p.m. General Major No usable unit for audio controllerNo utilizable unit for audio controller
RMX-MPPTAA 1 2014 May 5 04:35:28 p.m. 2014 May 5 09:05:28 p.m. General Major Missing Central Signaling configuration NO PORTS: (cs id 1)

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello Cbutrons,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issue experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

In addition it is useful to provide some background information like if this happened out of the Box or after an upgrade?

  • If upgrade has the valid license been added ?
  • What is the background of yourself and this installation?

  • Has a Polycom reseller been involved and consulted?

The RMX installation is not really an end user task, especially if not trained, and as I am unaware of your knowledge Level of Polycom products would be a very lengthy process to do via the community forum.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi!!

Sorry for the lack of information SteffenBairUK, I'm setting up a new RMX 1500, its software version is 8.2.0.85. The background of this installation is very short, I only unpacked the RMX, connected the power and ethernet cables (Media, Signaling and Managment), registered the RMX, and did the fast configuration wizard! After that the error light was on and when I checked the alarms I got this:

MCU ID Time GMT Time Category Level Code Description
RMX-MPPTAA 5 2014 May 5 04:41:48 p.m. 2014 May 5 09:11:48 p.m. General Major No usable unit for audio controllerNo utilizable unit for audio controller
RMX-MPPTAA 1 2014 May 5 04:35:28 p.m. 2014 May 5 09:05:28 p.m. General Major Missing Central Signaling configuration NO PORTS: (cs id 1)

I don't have a wide experience setting up POLYCOM's solutions, but I'm PCVE and I've taken 2 implemention course, and the last thing is that I've been talking to the POLYCOM's support team.

Thanks for your help, if I get any news I'll post it!
