What is that Green Checkmark I see on some forum posts?
The Support Community has launched for a week on our Polycom Community site and we already have seen quite a number of Q&As between Polycom customers and employees. Some of your might notice that in some posts, there is a little green checkmark next to a reply. Wonder what that is?
Here is an example... On this post, the last answer by user "Kendo" has a green checkmark next to the post title. What this means is that, the person who asked the question (i.e.. user "tiogatech") has marked Kendo's answer as a "Solution" by clicking on the "Accept as Solution" button. Only the person who started the thread (posted the question) can mark a reply as a solution. Once a reply is marked as a solution, the green checkmark will show up.
Once the reply is marked as a solution, then on the original question post, there will be an anchor link created to take users directly to the solution reply.
In addition, the solution post will also be showcased in the "New Solutions" module on the Support Community main page.
So, if you see someone making an effort replying to your question and if you feel the answer has solved your issue, please give the person a "Kudo" and mark his/her reply as a "Solution".
By doing so, you are, in a way, saying "thank you" to the person who helped you. :smileywink:
Happy Posting!
