mini UPS for wireless repeater KIRK WRFP4

Mini UPS for KIRK WRFP4 repeater - our system has 8 off these across the site. The base station has  a UPS but the rest of the site is not covered by UPS power supply.

Looking for a cost effective solution for maintaining communications lets say up to 4 hours of mains power loss. Each unit only requires 2.7VA.

One solution is to use a POE switch and POE Splitters if you have the cabling in place. 

In summary the set up would be:

POE Network switch centrally located and you UPS this switch.

At each repeater point you have a CAT5/6 network point patched through to the POE switch.

The POE port on the repeater side can be attached to a POE spliter that splits the ethernet and power then down grades the power to 9v for the repeater.

This works really well with the KWS300 or KS6000 since these use POE for the base stations already.

We have developed a POE splitter (wall mountable) that performs this function with the right cable ends although there are various POE splitters on the market.

Alternatively I know of some installers that run DC cables from a central location.
