iPower 9000 - Far end Video signal only seen when I swap PIP - not on main screen

Hi - need help ASAP from an iPower 9000 guru if possible.  I have this older system we are attempting to use and all seems well except that when we fire up the system, the local room video picture is NOT displayed on the large home screen, but the signal is present on the people and content menu, and pops to a larger window when you hover over it, etc.  However, it's not on the main screen as usual.  When we accept an incoming call, or place a call for that matter, the calls connect successfully and audio is fine, etc., but the only video visible is in the PIP window, and by using the menu, I can swap it to either near or far, but still no signal on the main screen.  I have checked all connections, etc, and all seems correct.  I believe it is a setup issue on the admin app, but cannot figure it out.  Any info greatly appreciated,

Re: iPower 9000 - Far end Video signal only seen when I swap PIP - not on main screen

Hi Jay,  I have been looking through all of my old archives but I cannot seem to find the reason for the video issue.  I do remember seeing it occur on one of my lab systems perhaps 10 years ago but for the life of me I cannot remember if it was a software or hardware issue.

In any case I suggest reghosting the iPower.  Then if it is software it will be fixed, if not then it is hardware and there is not much that can be done there. We stopped selling them in 2005 and all support was shut off in 2010.

I do have what is likely to be the last running iPower9000 in the company and I thought I remember some hardware diagnostics but I cannot seem to find them now. I know there are net diag tools bit I am not sure if there was internal hardware diags.

There is no setting in admin tools for that.

In any case try the reghost (don't ask me for a set of disks because they are no longer available)

My gut instinct is that issue was hardware.
