how can i disable the IVR of of the RSS2000 or at least remove the welcome message?

You cannot remove the IVR from the RSS 2000, but you can replace it with a silent file. If you go to the System Configuration -> User Customization page on the RSS, you can use the browse buttons there to select any audio files you wish to upload to the RSS from your PC. If you just take an audio file that has no sound recorded in it, it will have the effect of making the IVR silent.
However, this change will affect all recording on that RSS, so make sure you want to make that change globally before you decide to do this.
