Hi. Has anyone else encountered behaviour where, when playing back an asf file in Windows Media Player - either directly off the RSS4000 itself or as a downloaded file, using the seek bar, or the fast forward/rewind options results in the video/audio freezing while the seek is going on. It eventually catches up, but this is not intended behaviour.
Also, we are hopeful of loading the resulting videos into Mediasite (which uses the silverlight player). Tests so far indicate that silverlight doesn't play niely with the files created by the RSS4000.
Another observed behaviour is that VLC player will only playback the audio from the created file, not the video itself.

Which version of Sliverlight are you running? Which browser?
What's interesting is I've tried IE9, Chrome, & Firefox. None will work with Live Streaming. My version of Silverlight is 5.1.10411.0. I've even tried Real Player but no luck. RP pulls up Silverlight as well.
