I'm planning to upgrade a cma 4.01 to cma 6.0.

Do I have to take the following path with database backup between each upgrade?

4.01 --> 5.0 --> 5.3 --> 5.5 --> patch --> 6.0

Flodin,

That is almost correct. There is one additional step though. You would need to do:

4.01 -> 5.0 -> 5.3 -> 5.5 -> 5.5 Patch 2 -> 5.5 Pre-Upgrade patch -> 6.0

The Preupgrade patch can only be applied to 5.5 patch 2. So you have to install that patch prior to installing the preupgrade patch.

Hi,

I am trying to do the same upgrade but i cannot find the V.5.0 software anywhere on the download page.

Can you please direct me to the download link for the CMA 4000 V.5.0 version?

Thanks in advance,

Sander

Hello sapol,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Upgrades can be downloaded but you can never download the Version  (5.0 / 6.0 etc. ) itself as they contain the Operating systems.

Please work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support.
