Hi
We have few Polycom SoundStation2W phones.
I need to call overseas whose number is 18 digits long (including IDD and Country codes). After typing the overseas number when I press Send, it strips last three digits. As a result the call failed. I checked the user guide and phone settings but couldn’t find anything to fix this issue.
How can I dial the fill 18 digits phone number from our Polycom SoundStation2W phones? Need help.
Thanks in advance.
Mohammad

Hello Mohammad,
The analog SoundStation 2W is a device that is directly connected to a public exchange and therefore obeys these analog restrictions.
Any VoIP Phone like a VVX are usually connected to a private network and you can dial anything you like.
There is no planned change for a SoundStation 2W as far as I am aware.

Hi Steffen
Thanks for the link. I read the Telephone numbering plan wiki.
Interestingly our Polycom VVX410 and VVX310 handsets allow us to dial more than 15 long phone numbes. Only the Polycom SoundStation2W phones are striping off digits after first 15 digits.
Is there any way to change Polycom SoundStation2W phones settings to allow dialing more than 15 numbers?
Thanks
Mohammad
