Hi,

I am trying to use the Conference Button (Flash) to create a conference call. But when i press on the button and key in the phone number, there is a join button. I press on the "Join" button but nothing happened.

So i use another polycom soundstation 6000 to do the same thing, the conference call was established.

The different is that Soundstation 2W uses a analog line with a converter, while Soundstation 6000 uses a digital line.

Any idea on how to resolve this?

Hi Steffen,

Thank you, i've already read this.

The problem seems to be different model of phone, not the PABX / PSTN Line.

Like i've mentioned, same line but different phone was used.

The Soundstation 6000(digital) was able make the conference call but Soundstation 2W(analog) doesn't.

Hello KSSIT,

the FAQ article linked explains that this completely depends on the PABX / PSTN / Adapter you are using.

An analog phone regardless of who is the manufacturer uses the Flash functionality to interrupt the line.

The SS2W can be set to different flash times as explained in the admin guide but the functionality or ability to hold a conference completely depends on what it is connected to.

The SoundStation IP 6000 you also quoted is a SIP phone which will behave completely differently.

Please work with the support team of whatever adapter you are using.
