How do I get caller off hold?

What are the steps after I put caller on hold, press transfer to tell someone who is calling, then hang up to take caller off hold to tell caller I'm transferring, then transfer the call.

Linda,  you did not mention which model of phone you have or what type of service you are using. The used Guide for your phone should be located on the link below.  Some phones may have a soft key that is programmed in the local PBX and the function may not be the same for all models.

Re: How do I get caller off hold?

Hello all,

even as this was already covered here:

Oct 20, 2011 Question: How can I setup a conference via my Polycom Conference Phone?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

I now in addition added this here highlighting the word "hold":

Aug 24, 2012 Question: How can I place a caller on hold or return from hold via my Polycom Conference Phone?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please check either of these post's as the phone, once the flash time is set correctly, completely relies on the PABX / PSTN and you should contact the provider of the analog line how to use the hold function.

Best regards
