Hello ParadiseTech ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VTX is an analog phone so there is not PoE power and you must not replace the original cable as this has an additional nose on the side of the RJ45 plug in order to prevent anyone from plugging this into an ethernet socket and potentially destroy a PC's network port.
