If we are listening to the person calling in talk for some lenght of time, it seems the sensitivity on our pickup microphones gets higher and higher, to the point that even just the small sound of a paper shuffle in the room captures the transmit circutry on our side of the call and cuts off our being able to hear the person calling in.  The only solution we have found for this so far is to mute our microphones, but that defeats the goal of having a back and forth conversation. 

 

How to fix this?

I am currently having the same issue with a soundstation 2.  The call cuts in and out and the only way to avoid it is to mute the call.
