I have a Soundstation 2W via a Cisco ATA.  Dialtone is present and I can make calls just fine.  After the call connects however, depressing the dialpad creates tones, but the tones are not "heard" by the party I've called.  For example, I can successfully call into a conference line, but the system cannot detect that I'm entering my participant ID, or I can call the bank, but the system cannot detect that I've entered a "0" for the operator.  I do hear the tones when I press the keys, but they don't seem to register with other side.  Thoughts?

The ultimate resolution was a little more in depth than "not our problem".

Hello purehobby,

from a Polycom perspective the answer is as you already discovered as we , or any other analog phone manufacturer, have no influence on the line or PABX the phone is connected to.

Thanks for providing the details how to solve this limitation on the used ATA as this may help other users.

Best Regards
