Greetings,

I have a SoundStation Duo running in PSTN mode on an analog PBX line which has gone into a reboot loop with the error:

application is not present!

No one other than myself has the passcode or access to the device administration pages and could not have formatted the file system. I have read through the FAQ and have not found a way to load a new OS image into the phone other than through a provisioning server, which we do not have in our environment.

The unit is labled: 2201-19000-001

The info I was able to gain from the config screens of another identical phone purchased along with the faulty one is as follows:

Boot Block: 3.0.2.0024 (19000-001)

Updater: 5.0.1.10553

Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter,

J.Coelho

The above explains , as you already know, that you need to re-install the software.

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?

The above explains how to do this using a local FTP server.
