We have a SoundStation VTX 1000 that was working just fine until last night.  Due to a power outage, our facility switched to generator power last night at 5:00 and then back to normal power after 9:00 p.m.  When we came in this morning, the VTX 1000 had its lights on, as if a call was in progress, but there was no dial tone and none of the buttons work.

We unplugged the phone from power hoping this would reset the unit.  However, it continues to display the lights but no connectivity.

Any ideas?  Is there somewhere we can send the unit to be tested/repaired?

Thanks.

Hello LizzyG,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Most likely the unit was damaged by some power issue when your generator kicked in but you can always open a self service ticket via this page => here <= and chose the RMA option and the prices should be quoted online.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
