My soundstation is old but this is my last grasp to determin whether I should replace it.
Originally it had a problem with "no connection" and determined that I needed to reboot both the base and the soundstation. It would not pick up on the connection.
I unplugged the base, disconnected the battery from the soundstation.
Waited 15 seconds, plugged the base in
Plugged the battery into the soundstation, I noticed the soundstation shows "not registered". It looks like it shows boot checksum after plugging in but thats about all I can catch as it quickly returns to "not registered."
It does not allow me to get into the menu, it repeatedly goes back to "not registered." I am unable to attempt a fw update or anything else for that matter.
S/N: G205200004185 (base and soundstation match)

SCANSOURCE COMMUNICATIONS sold this device back in 10/06/2005.
This makes the device nearly 12 years old and I assume it is defective.
