This was asked before but doesn't appear to have been answered...and I've had this problem for a very long time.

We have a Polycom Soundstation2, connected to an analog port on our IP Office 500 v2.

When a call is made via 4 digit dialling over our VPN, the call stays up for 11 minutes at a time, and then disconnects.  This almost always happens every time at close enough to 11 minutes for it to be reproducible.

If, however, they call over the PSTN, then the call stays up for as long as required.

Has anyone ever found the reason or solution for this ?....

Any help would be appreciated....thanks.

Hello MM77,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This would to 100% not have anything to do with the SoundStation 2 and an easy way for you to verify this would be to connect another analog phone to the same port and try the same.

I suggest you work with a community dealing with the product you are using i.e. the IP office or seek official support from the supplier.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
