Hello,

i have a polycom soundstation 2w.
First it was not able to connect to the station anymore. So we've tried an firmware update which failed.
Now the soundstation keeps showing. "ss2w: writing flash do not power off"
I've tried several troubleshooting points without success.

Is there a way to get the soundstation boot normal?

I did not find any helpful in the forum regarding this topic.

OS: Win7 64bit
No firewall or antivirus

SN: 0f081241D9731

I would be very thankful for any advice.

Hello SanchoFernandez,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We had some isolated issue with this in the past but this unit was sold back in March 2013 and should not show this.

Stating the above there is always a chance of an unit breaking and as this unit is well out of warranty you could only send it in for an RMA.

I can only suggest to maybe try this on another PC and ensuring you have:

  • Admin Rights
  • Disable the Anti Virus and / or Firewall

Hello Steffen,

thanks for the quick reply!

Unfortunately, admin rights and deactivated firewall and antivirus did not help.

The screenshot shows where i get stuck.
