Dear Sir,

This is regarding  the issues we are facing while calling from Real Presence Mobile (directly connected to broadband router **bleep** Wi Fi access point) to HDX on public IP via VBP 5300, E10. Below are the scenarios to illustrate the problem.

Scenario 1: When we are calling from HDX  to HDX on Public IP or Local IP calls gets connected with perfect Transmission and Reception of Audio and video Packets.

Scenario 2: When we are calling from Real presence mobile application (connected to 3G or 4G)  to HDX units via VBP on Public IP in our Office, then also the call gets connected.

Scenario 3: When we are calling from Real presence mobile application (connected to broadband router **bleep** Wi Fi access point) to HDX units via VBP on Public IP, then call gets connected but the Real Presence Mobile Application user is not able to see Video and audio of far end but at HDX unit side we are able to get the audio and video of Real Presence Mobile installed at I Pad.

Conclusion: By utilizing the 3g/4g connection for Real Presence Mobile the VC call gets connected from either side but when the Real presence Mobile  device is connected to Wi-Fi access point which is behind any broadband network, then we face the above said issue.

Kindly let us know how this problem can be resolved.

Dear Mr. Pal,

Greetings of the day!

This is to update you that at the HDX EP side we are able to get the video as well as audio but no audio & video is received at RealPresence Mobile side. The bandwidth at broadband is 2 MBPS and we have tried calling on 384 KBPS & 512 KBPS but in both the call, problem remains same.

Kindly suggest further.

Thanks & Regards,

It sounds like issue from service provider side, get in touch with the service provider and let them know your requirement. Tell them to open firewall ports from their side for video call.

I am experiencing the same issue.  I use Comcast Business (SMC modem).  Were you able to fix it? According to Comcast, they don't block any of the ports in the Polycom documentation.

You can cross cheak to call from any softclient to make sure all up and running.

Modems are deault configured for data trafics.
