Update: I had an indea....  I went all the way back to version 2.3 or earlier and it works. Hey Steffen.  Is there a version you can release that uses the authentication method of the 2.3 in the latest version?  This issue also occurs on the latest CMAD where if the user manually types it in in CMAD same error.

Hello Duke,

we would really need to know the error message in order to comment. Or any Log files if you have these.

Do you have any more details on the serial numbers so we can take this up with your provider to ensure you receive the attention and the support that this requires?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

For the time being, we pointed the CMA to update AD authentication on a DC that does not have the KB patch in question installed.  Everythng is working for now.

The error we get is "unknown user name or password" on the CMAD if we manually type in the username and password.  If we tick the box to auto sign in with network credentials, it works with no problem.  IF we went back to earlier versions, the manual username and password has not problems. On RPM, had to go all the way back to v2.3 for the user name and password issue not to appear.

So That's why was asking if you guys are making a new release that uses the authentication method of v2.3 for RPM?

Telstra Response was very disappointing. Only after proving them the cause is from the KB that they went to the Engineering ticket to see what it says and a fix is scheduled in late May.

We told them we can't go back to earlier versions as there's too many issues we had with it in the past and they did not assist with other workarounds like add another DC that does not have the KB and have the CMA Point the look up to it.

You think after the lack of support first time, they would bend over backwards to help us fix it but all they says is that it is not a support setup or support enititlement and need to talk to the account manager.  FYI, Telstra were the ones who set it up this way many moons ago and telling us it is not supported by them - how oxymoron is that.

If you still want the serial number let me know and I will check with my boss to see if it is ok.

Regards

Duke

The AD authentication issue will be addressed with CMA version 6.2.7 which is scheduled for release the end of May.
