We just started using the RPM app for Android and we're encountering an issue with viewing video voicemail messages.  We are using the app in conjunction with Simple Signal's 3rd party SIP services.  The vast majority of the messages will start out with the image being completely green.  This will last for 0.5 to 3 seconds of the video voicemail and then will switch over to a clear video stream.

 

Does anyone know what would be causing the "green screen" at the beginning of the message?  Is there a way to resolve this issue?  Is there a way to improve overall video quality of the video calls and video voice messages?

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The version running on our tablets is 3.3-51934 as available to us via the Play Store.  The tablets themselves are running at least 4.4.2.  Simple Signal states that the problem is not on their end as all other hardware phones do not exhibit the same behavior and thus far we have been able to confirm that.  They stated that we needed to consult Polycom support in order to resolve the issue.
