Updated to the latest Skype for Business on the VVX 601 phone.  Now it gives the red triangle Exchange URL not configured.  Contact your Administrator.  Won't login any longer and just has the Red X next to my login name.

Did a reset on the phone.  Selected Skype profile.  Started over entering credentials.  Still does it.

Anybody else having this?

Current software version :

5.5.1.15937

Hello techlogik,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The community's Skype for Business FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 17, 2017 Question:How can I troubleshoot simple Skype for Busines, LYNC or Office365 issues?

Resolution: Have a look => here <=

Simply posting some logs can enable the community to try and help and troubleshoot.

If the above is not possible I think you know the escalation process. Please post a MAC so I can check who your reseller is.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Had to do a complete reset of the phone.  Setup the basics again, NTP, then Skype Profile.  Few other things like DNS.  And delete the configuration settings file off the provisioning server for the phone.  Then was able to setup from scratch.  Then push common settings back to the file land reconfigure.

Pain in the you know what.  Shouldn't be this difficult when doing a firmware upgrade on a phone.

Thanks

Hello techlogik,

Not knowing what kind of settings you had programmed on the phone it is hard to comment.

In addition when you manually require to set the Base Profile to Skype makes me believe you do not have the Skype for Business -019 SKU or the LYNC -018 SKU as these phones would not need this.

Please ensure you have the relevant licenses for all the phones you are using as explained:

The use of Polycom UC Software versions 4.1.X (“Software”) requires the purchase of a separate Software license for every device that will use the Software in a Lync environment. You may not install, access, or use the Software in a Lync environment on more devices than are listed on your license until additional licenses have been purchased and authorized by Polycom. These licenses should be purchased from the same company from which you purchased the devices. You may operate devices against a Lync server for trial purposes for up to 30 days without purchasing a license. Use of the Software is subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement.

Polycom reserves the right to audit your deployment to verify that you have sufficient licenses to match the number of devices being used.
