Hello admcclendon,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Thanks for sharing your experience and the solution for your issue.

In the case of the original poster he/she still has a license issue which has so far not yet been confirmed from his/her end.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

The problem has resolved this morning following a Windows 10 update.

Hello CMM,

Please also ensure you have the relevant Polycom per device LYNC licenses.

This forum/support community doesnt look like created to help customers but tell them that everyone should buy "elite support package" or PPI option.

It feels like there should be another 3rd party forum created for customers to discuss issues and share experience as very rarley you can get answer to your questions here (except the answer to raise a ticket).

I had a full support in my previous company. Raised a ticket and was told that Polycom is aware of it but is not planning to fix it at the moment..

This is very bad customer service.

Hello TomUK,

The original poster uses a Hardware that is not licensed to utilize Skype for Business or LYNC. They can avoid that by purchasing the relevant amount of per device licenses from Polycom.

In addition their hardware was out of warranty and therefore the request for PPI.

I am unsure what company provide support for out of warranty devices and in addition unlicensed devices for free?

In my role as a Tier 3 support engineer I can judge what issues need to be seen by Polycom support so therefore the request from my end to escalate this.

You can still discuss amongst each other whatever you want. If an issue only affects an single individual it would be hard to raise a business case for this.

Please share details of what you had experienced so I can look this up internally.

Best Regards

I am checking into licenses.

Regarding individual cases such as mine, I just searched "Polycom BToE not pairing" and found 7 out of 13 results on the first page related to pairing issues.
