In my SFB client I can right click a user on my contact list and select Call  >  Voice mail.

Can this be done on the VVX phone?

I'm helping a client who can do something similar on their Cisco PBX.  Users can dial * and then 4 digits it calls the other user's voicemail box directly.  I'm trying to figure out if this is possible on the VVX phones.

Thanks

Hello medlhuber,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Please ensure you always post the currently used software version as requested in the Read First.

A couple of your old posts => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice was useful and has helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently.

For your new question pressing and holding a pinned contact will open the Contact Card with the details for the contact.

If this is a Skype for Business contact the Voicemail will be displayed:

This is helpful if the contact is a pinned favorite.  Is it possible to do it without having the contact as a pinned favorite?  For example you can't just dial * and then 4 digits or some quick dial method that would work for an entire organization as long as you knew their extension?

Hello medlhuber,

This is something you would need to ask Microsoft. The only way we can do it is to search for a contact and then display the details.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
