HP Comware 5130 with Polycom lync ip phone  VVX300 - CX500

Dears,

I have HP comware JG937A 5130 switch and need to connect polycom phones.

the phones didnt get voice vlan auto and keep working on native vlan only - untagged vlan - while it should work on voice vlan via lld-med

i am using lldp and below two configuration on two different ports but both not working, Any Idea ?

data vlan 2 - voice vlan 3

 

Global Configuration:

Use the first part of the MAC address of the Lync phones

voice-vlan mac-address 0008-2100-0000 mask ffff-ff00-0000 description Lync-phones

 

 

IP phone voice vlan 3 or end User vlan 2:

Option A – Trunk Port

==================

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/X

poe enable

port link-type trunk

undo port trunk permit vlan 1

port trunk permit vlan 2 3

 port trunk pvid vlan 2

undo voice-vlan mode auto

voice-vlan 3 enable

stp edged-port

lldp compliance admin-status cdp txrx

Hello waelagina,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The CX phone itself does not have much troubleshooting possibilities built in and relies on the LYNC server to be able to upload logs.

 

In regards of the VVX I suggest you run LLDP logs in debug levels and check the logs on the provisioning server.

 

There was a similar sounding post over => here <= a few days ago but not 100% sure if applicable to your issue.
