Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but here's the scenario:

Create SfB meeting using my account, invite Trio room account and set it as the location of the meeting.  Calendar entry appears on the Trio, I click "Join".  "Connecting to Conference" shows on the screen for about 60 seconds, then the error:

"Conference service did not respond, failed to add self to the conference"

Here is a dump of the logs that look like they're related to the error:

I should add that person to Trio (one to one) Skype calls between Skype clients and the Trio work perfectly (audio & video).  We're using Skype for Business in Office365.

I'm on the latest version of the firmware (5.4.3.2007).

Hello lebshiff21,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The next step is to open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. In case this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your phone's MAC address so I can look up who would be able to support you.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi,

I have the exact same issue.

Trio 8800 can make/receive calls to Skype for Business users with no problem.  However, when the user signed into the TRIO is invited to a Scheduled Meeting and you click Join on the phone, the user appears for a short time in the meeting as a participant, but continues attempting to connect until it times out.

Tracing on SfB didn't show any specific errors and the logs on my phone are identical to the 1st post for this error.

Jeff 🙂

Can you provide any suggestions please?

Regards,

Steve

Hello SteveW,

welcome to the Polycom Community. Please ensure to always post the currently used software version.

The community's Skype FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 17, 2017 Question:How can I troubleshoot simple Skype for Bussines, LYNC or Office365 issues?

Resolution: Have a look => here <

If the above is not sufficient to help your issue you should open a ticket as I already asked the original poster.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
