Missing Call Controls in SfB when Primary Device is not VVX

UC Software Version 5.5.2.8571 

BToE Connector 3.6

 

Seeing odd behaviour not sure if it's expected or not.

 

When a device other than the Polycom VVX Phone is set as the Primary Device in the SfB Client and an incoming call is answerd on the Polycom VVX Phone, the pop-up window with call control options does not apper in the SfB Client.

 

When the Polycom VVX Phone is set as the Primary Device in the SfB Client and an incoming call is answerd on the Polycom VVX Phone, the pop-up window with call control options appers as expected in the SfB Client.

 

Is this difference in behaviour expected?

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Yes we only support a VVX phone via BToE using the Skype for Business client.

I get that.

 

The BToE client is un-changed between the changes in behaviour.

 

The change in behaviour appers to be control by the selection in the snapshot.

 

With a device other than the VVX selected as the Primary Device, there are no SfB client call controls when the call is answered on the VVX.
