We are using the built-in phone directory on some VVX601 phones to provide PSTN speed dial buttons on VVX sidecars.  This works fine in 5.4.5.6770, however this feature doesn't seem to work in 5.4.6.4588.  There is nothing in the release notes that says this feature was removed.  We have also noticed that this is missing from the 5.5 train.  This feature is important to us.  Will this be supported in the future?

We wouldn't need this feature if Microsoft allowed adding non-Lync objects to the Skype client which could then be added as speed dial buttons on the Polycom.

Thanks

Hello tjcornish,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

If you found a bug please open this with support.

5.5.2 now remembers what type of number or contact you dialed aka TelUri in respect to sipURI until the next reboot.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
