Hello all,

I have 2 new CX5500 run same version:

UC Software Version  5.4.0.13979

Device Software Version  1.2.0.70232

I want to use PIN Authentication on Lync Signin page, but one device have it and the other have not.

Anyone know how to show the PIN Authentication in Authenticsation Type?

Thanks

Hello vietht,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Your Post was moved as it was not posted in the Skype for Business section.

Firstly you are using an outdated software. The latest Software for the CX is 1.3.0 so please ensure to upgrade your units.

In addition the phone will only display the PIN option if it received during bootup the Option 43. If it did not or on older versions it may show it but cannot utilize it.

The community's Skype for Business FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 11, 2014 Question: Why can we not sign into LYNC via Pin & Extension?

Resolution: Please verify that the phone has the => correct time <= and the Option 43 and Option 120 is setup in the DHCP scope as explained =>here <= or => here <=
