Hi,

I am struggling with a Skype for Business environment trying to update to a newer version for a Trio 8800 that I have registered as a test device using it's MAC address.

The device queries the frontend server using the following URI (partial):

2017-09-13 19:53:47 172.16.16.36 GET /RequestHandlerExt/ucdevice.upx - 4443 - 172.16.16.185 - - 401 0 0 3
2017-09-13 19:53:47 172.16.16.36 POST /RequestHandlerExt/ucdevice.upx - 4443 - 172.16.16.185 - - 401 1 2148074254 1
2017-09-13 19:53:48 172.16.16.36 POST /RequestHandlerExt/ucdevice.upx - 4443 RoomName@domain.com 172.16.16.185 - - 200 0 0 73

What can I do to track down the issue?

What Log level should I increase to see more details?

Here are the probably relevant device settings of that device:

device.prov.ztpEnabled.set="1"
  device.prov.ztpEnabled="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateEnabled.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateEnabled="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateUser.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateUser=""
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateDomain.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateDomain=""
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateExtension.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateExtension=""
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdatePin.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdatePin=""
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateCredentialType.set="1"
  device.prov.lyncDeviceUpdateCredentialType="1"

Thank you

Lothar

Hi,

I have found the issues (probably one of the two):

SfB test deployment devices were registered by MAC adresses with the colons

The test devices were registered as global test devices compared to site based test devices.

I believe, that after the first trial about changing from global to site based test devices, one did the update.

After changing my others MAC address entry (removing colons), they did also update.

I therefore assume, both settings or changes are needed to update the test devices.
