In a Lync environment with 5.4.0.5841 deployed to VVX 500 and 600 we not seeing the default as described in the 5.4.0 Administrator Guide. The guide indicates:

VVX 500=max 3
VVX 600=max 4

but what we're seeing looks like 2 for both models.

If I include the 'up.numOfDisplayColumns' parameter in the configuration file the phones behave as expected.

On a loosely related note, I thought I remembered being able to 'swipe left' to view additional favourites that that would not fit on the first screen, did / does this functionality exist?

James,

Those are the max values the default is 2 on both phones. I don't remember what version of UCS they changed the defaults but that is correct for 5.3.0 and up.

I don't recall ever being able to swipe left for more using the Lync base profile.

5.4.0.5481 is not supported when using Lync/SfB. 5.3.1 or 5.4.0A(5.4.0.10182) are recomended.

I guess I dreamed the swipe left for more contacts. It would be a nice feature.

The "Polycom® UC Software with Lync Server and Skype for Business Deployment Guide" lists the defaults as 2 on both devices but the Polycom® UC Software Version 5.4.0 Administrator Guide still lists the old defulat values.
