We are having trouble with the demo of the Telepresence M100 software with our VSX 8000. During test calls between the systems, we can see video but cannot send/receive sound. Calls to Polycom test numbers have audio, but when we connect to our system, all we hear is a buzzing/chirping sound cutting in and out on the VSX 8000. Nothing is heard on the laptop but it's possible the buzzing/chirping is too quiet on that end.

Is there a particular audio setting on the VSX 8000 we need to check or change? Our VSX 8000 is connected directly to the Internet at 15/2 and it is not behind a firewall.

- What about the M100, is that behind a Firewall?

- What is the call rate that you are calling the VSX?

- Is it possible to test with a VSX 8000 locally, like on a switch or a crossover cable between the laptop and the VSX 8000?

- While in the call can you check the call stats to see what audio/video protocol you are connected with, packet loss, jitter etc.

Hi,

I am having a lot of trouble connecting from m100 to our regular polycome system in India as well.

There is a buzzing chirping suond on one side (theirs) and no audio on mine!

The video is also broken and hangs often.

The bandwidth at both ends seems ok...

any advice would be fantastic!
