Greetings gentlemen,

could you please comment if anyone has managed to achieve more than 10 fps with CMA D v.5.2 and Microsoft LifeCam Cinema?

We've been using generic USB Video Device driver for LifeCam Cinema with CMA D v.5.1 and were able to achieve up to 25 fps in talking head scenario. The framerate would naturally drop if scene became more dynamic, but after it stabilized, it was up to 25 fps again. We're aware that original Microsoft's LifeCam driver is limited to 15 fps 720p, that's why we're using generic USB Video Device driver as suggested on TechNet.

With the same cam, driver, PC and in the same calling scenario as being used with CMA D v.5.1, we are NOT ABLE TO achieve more than 10 fps using CMA D v.5.2...

When the same cam and same driver are being used with MOC R2 in a call with RTV enabled HDX, the framerate provided is the same as with CMA D v.5.1.

Seems like the new CMA D v.5.2 is not providing the same framerate as was once before with v.5.1.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ognjen
