Hello everyone,

We are using Group Series 500 and its remote control device has a problem. The problem is its battery discharges very quickly.By very quickly i mean it doesnt even last 5 minutes after a 4 hour long recharging.

First i thought cause of the problem is the removable battery but past week i ordered brand new battery and it is also discharges very quickly. So what could be the cause of this problem? How can i troubleshoot my remote control?Do i have to order brand new remote control too.

Regards.

The battery in the remote is a lithium Ion battery and if it is not used and not recharged regularly it will exhibit this type of behaviour.  See the net about the care of lithium ion batteries.

That would not be the expected behaviour of a remote with a good battery, even a short charge of less than 5 minutes should be good for about 50 button pushes.

If you have a service contract you should use it.
