Hi all,

I've been noticing this strange occurence particularly with the Group series units. After they disconnect from a call they still show up in the POlycom CMA 5000 as in a call. I have to delete them and wait for them to re-register for them to come good. If you look at the call-info (righ hand side) it gives me this weird information (look at screenshot). It says it is connected to our bridge (Polycom RMX 2000) but its not.

Has anyone else noticed this? Any information would be useful

Cheers

Navin

Hello Navin,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to post the currently used Software Version of all components used. In addition please verify the individual release notes if the software versions used are actually compatible / supported.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

Thank you for your reply, always forget the release numbers.

Group Series 500's - 4.1.1.1-120023

CMA 5000 - 6.2.5 ER10

RMX 2000 - 8.2.0.85

Hope this helps

Cheers

Hi Navin,

I assume you only recently upgraded your RMX.

To my knowledge, please cross check the release notes, the RMX 7.8 build is the latest official build that is compatible with the CMA 6.2.5

You have two options, downgrade the RMX to a supported build, or migrate, if possible, to Video DualManager.

Please work with your Polycom reseller for further support.

Best Regards

Hi Navin

I met that thing:
The CMA can monitor Group Series systems only in dynamic management mode. If your Group System isn't in dynamic management mode, in that case, CMA don't request information from Group codec.

I suppose, it can be the cause of your issue.

Regards
