Dear All,

I have enabled in HDX 8000 log settings the H.323 trace to receive further information for potential failures.

The CDR shows the communications but nothing is visible in the messages in the polycom info package regarding the trace.

The s/w is the latest 3.1.11

hw version D

System Name: HN M3.14
Serial Number: 82153042DAB9CG

Furthermore, I have noticed that the systems do not allow both traces (ISDN and H.323) being enabled simultaneously.

Any idea why nothing is logged?

Kind regards,

SimoJ

What do you have the Log Level set to in System Log Settings?

After Downloading System Logs, what file are you looking at for the trace?

I am looking to the multiple "messages" with the sequence number at the end.

I have also another question. The time stamps are not following each other in the CDR and in the messages. The CDR presents the actual time but the messages file is two hours earlier.

The time server is setup and presents the actual time but why the timestamps in the messages are two hurs earlier?

Kind regards,

Simo

Could be the System Log is using UTC time format and CDR's is using Local time (UTC+2)?

Yes the HDX log will record both SIP and H323 events. Also be sure the Log Level is set to Debug.

The Support Information Package log is viewable using a viewer that Polycom Support has and it is not available to the public.

The log records in GMT and the CDR records in local time.

Please Give Polycom Support a call and open a Support Ticket and we would be glad to discuss the issue with you.
