So we recently acquired the Polycom HDX8000 and it seems to work well with the exception of allowing video calls out to Mac endpoints using Microsoft Lync for Macintosh 2011 Version 14.0.2.  It won't accept calls from a Mac end point either for Video.  It will only allow Audio when calling to the Mac end point from the Polycom, and when the Mac enpoint calls to the Polycom, the session is closed indicating that the Video Call was refused, even though we accept it on the Polycom.

Any ideas on what to tweak to get this to work properly?  I think we're missing something.  I would have expected it to work.

It sounds like you are running an older version of firmware as these calling issues with Lync:mac and Mac Communicator were resolved a while ago.  Download and install the most recent HDX firmware of 3.0.5.
