Just installed the Polycom QDX 6000 system.

 

It seems to work fine when dialing to other polycom systems.

But whenever we try to dial to a Tandberg system we receive the following error : Your call could not be completed because the call was routed through an intermediate network that does not service the far site. Contact your network administrator for assistance.

The system is behind A Firewall with NAT enabled. A public IP is mapped to the systems private IP. Can anyone explain why we receive this error and are unable to connect to any tandberg systems.

This message is a generic message when the system is attempting a call to a far site but is not getting any response. This message will be seen even if you are trying to dial QDX to QDX and the firewall is blocking the return traffic. I don't believe there is any interop issues between QDX and Tandberg
