Hello,

is there any prerequisites to connect 4 link from a quad-bri to an Astraa 5000 with an AXS/L module?

In fact all my video calls are established in 128 Ko instead of 512Ko. I checked the preference calls and all other calls bandwith parameters and i think the problem don't come from that.

Does the Astra must send the clock to the quad-bri? Is there other things to configure on the PBX?

Thank's for your reply

The type of PBX should not matter as long as it will support BRI standards.

The key here is to match settings between the PBX and the video endpoint.

The first item is the protocol.  Most PBX administrators will use either ATT5eSS or NI-1

If ATT5eSS is used then the dialing numbers would be the same for each 'B' channel on a line, of course each line has its own discrete set of numbers. ATT5eSS does not use SPIDS so those fields are grayed out on the video system.

If NI-1 is chosen each 'B' channel will use a discrete dialing number and it will have a SPID that corresponds to the individual number but will have a combination of ones and zeros attached,  A typical SPID will be of the format - area code - seven digit number 0101.

If the PBX ISDN ports are using a 'U' interface then an NT-1 device will be required near the video endpoint.  If the PBX outputs an 'ST' interface the NT-1 device is not needed but a four wire connection needs to be run to the conference room wall jack. Typically a standard Cat5 will work end to end.

It is also mandatory that the individual lines match the ports for which they are configured.
