I am new to Polycom equipment. I want to setup HDX8000 video conferencing equipment.

I wanted to configure using remote access. I connected my laptop to the HDX800 processing unit and i connected it directly to my PC using the PC lan interface. I configured my laptop with IP 10.11.12.14. I failed to access the HDX800x on IP address 10.11.12.13 using http/https. I then tried again to connect my PC and HDX800 device on a switch, but i failed to access it. Pinging was timing out.

The other option is to configure the device using a remote control. I guese it needs the whole equipment set-up. I have limited space, thus why i needed to configure the HDX800 device only. After configuring it i was then going to mount everything in the busy conference room.

May yo please guide me on how to rectify the problem. The administrator's guide give limited information on this. Please help

Hello osidc,

please ensure that you post in the correct section.

This is the second time you have replied to an VoIP Phone related Post with your HDX Video Endpoint query.

Best Regards
