Hello,

I just recieved the RealPresence 500 and have been testing out the unit.  When I call out to one single person i am able to make that users camera fullscreen, which is what i want. I am able to go into the Picture in picture setting and turn this off or on if i wanted to, which is great. Now, when i try to add a second person to this call i lose this option for single camera fullscreen. When i go into PiP settings i lose all options regarding single camera as well. Even after having the second person disconnect from the call the single view option does not come back. I even tried having all users turn off the camera besides the first caller and it still has pip activated with just a camera icon with a slash through it. I am looking to have multiple users connected in the skype call where i can either choice which user is full screen or if at least have it voice actived to bring the user to the top of a full screen view.

If anyone is able to assist me it would be greatly appreicated.

Hello AntiSe7eN,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

What is being used to support the MP?  Is it an RMX or AVMCU or other?

Thank you for responding, I don't believe i understand what you are asking? We are using Skype for Buisness with the Polycom RealPresence device.

System Software : HF - 5.1.0_08-250535

It appears that when switching from a pt-t-pt call to a multi-pt call using the RP500 as the bridge, the PIP functionality is affected.

Maybe someone from Polycom can find out if this is a bug, known issue or working as designed.

Hello AntiSe7eN,

a couple of things.

Firstly you seem to be running a HotFix as you stated the HF in the version. In addition you are not on the latest 5.1.x software as this would be 5.1.2 from => here <=

Checking your registration credentials I noticed I worked with your organisation before in your Headquarter so I can only advise you to reach out to the team there and try to get on the latest Software 6.1.0 and start testing with this.

In addition Skype for Business implementation on the GroupSeries end may be the layout dictated by the AVMCU from the Skype for Business end.

I have not played with it in a while but being on a currently supported software version should be your first goal.
