Software upgrades

Can anyone tell me the latest and stable software rev's for the following codecs -

HDX9001

VSX8000

Here's my current releases -

HDX9001 - software version - Release - 2.5.0.2-3395

VSX 8000 (128) - software version - Release 9.0.5 - 15Dec2008 08:05

To answer the OP's question - that is the latest and last VSX release

the HDX release - anything 3.0 is stable - I always stay one behind latest as Polycom have a habit of changing the latest release quickly

There are some fundamental changed from HDX 2.5 to 2.6 though so get that done!

Yes.  And sometimes they release another promptly because they discovered a "clanger" in the previous release.

Guys,  to set the record straight. The current release of VSX is 9.0.6.2 and there is no way of telling that it is the last.  Yes we have stopped selling the VSX line however we will still support it for 5 years after the last ones have been sold.  This means that we will continue to modify the software to stay compatible with current selling products. We will also still supply replacement parts if needed. Of course this applies to systems under a valid service contract.

HDX software Is continually being improved. Between public releases Hotfixes are published internally. These Hotfixes are then cumulatively added to the next public release. If a customer encounters an issue with the current release he can call support and we can review the Hotfixes and if his issue has already been resolved we can send him that release. 

All of the hotfixes within a release are published on Polycom's website in the Software release notes.
