Hi all,

I have a question regarding customization of soundpoint phones display.

Text displayed on labels assigned to lines, blfs or speedials is truncated and some dots are added to inform users about it.

The text is also right alligned on some phones and left alligned on other: which is the rule?

We are looking for a solution in order to better display text on the labels (we would like to display number + description).

Possible solution:

1) Scrolling text on labels

2) Reduce size of display's portion dedicated to time and date.

Thanks in advance for help.

Regards.

Francesco

Hello Francesco,

I seriosely doubt that there is much more development for newer features on the SoundStation / SoundPoint product range as they have been released for a long while.

Stating the above completely depends on the demand so I can only suggest to please raise this via your Polycom reseller as a feature request via a Polycom sales engineer and provide a business proposal why this would be required.

Above is necessary in order to track this internally within Polycom and evaluate the request and prioritize this based on the feasibility and the general impact on other features.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
