Hello,

We currently have a Polycom IP 7000 with 4.x.x software on it. We need to downgrade it to 3.3.x but are having some trouble figuring out how to do so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Thomas

Hello,

I have read the instruction and am trying to understand this downgrade procedure.

We have a provisioning server that has thousands of configuration files for thousands of phones in there, including the ip7000 phones.  Is the document that was referenced above stating that regardless of all of the indvidual config files, the ip 7000 that are all on UC 4.0 and greater will firstly look for the 3111-40000-001.sip.ld and 3111-40000-001.updater.ld   file, and once seeing this generic file  in the directory will proceed to downgrade the phone to 3.3?

Thank you in advance,

Fas
