Since the introduction of UC Software 5.1.0 the User of a phone is reminded via the Web Interface or the Phone display that the factory Password of 456 is still in use.

 

The above is a security reminder to prevent third parties accessing the phone locally or via the Web Interface.

 

The Icon is displayed alternated with the time like this:

or on the Web Interface like this:

In order to temporarily clear this

 

  • press the Home Key => select Settings => select Status => select Diagnostic => select Warnings

Pressing the Clear Icon Soft Key will remove the warning until the unit is rebooted. In order to permanently clear this icon the default factory password must be changed.
