Hello there,

We are evaluating Polycom IP 331/650 for Lync with FW 4.1.1. I have two questions regarding that.

1. In IP331 we are not able to enter password like this pAssWord for Lync sign in. Any suggestion?

2.  Do you have plans to UC software releases beyond 4.1.1 for Sound Point IP phones?

Thanks.

Regards,

Ganesh

Resolution: Please check => here <=

For your question 2:

The UCS 4.1.1 Software is at present the latest general available software and I am unable to discuss any future roadmap for unreleased software.

Hello Ganesh,

The password field in the web interface uses the reg.1.auth.password parameter which is limited to 256 characters.

Thanks but.. If I enter in the hardphone IP 331..looks like only 16 chars are allowed for Password field in Lync?

We wish to have minimal provisioning other than changing base mode to Lync.

Thanks.
