I recently went to replace a Polycom IP 6000 and the new one just sits there blinking it's red lights. I noted on the label that they changed from class b to class a! What gives? Do I now have to reconfigure PoE or buy new power supplies? Did we purchase teh wrong unit???

Hello hdavidh,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not aware that we changed anything on the hardware.

 

Did you purchase these new unit from new stock or used?

 

I suggest you raise a ticket.


In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.
